In Shetland & Highland Styles
Tweed colors As we spin our tweeds, we add specially dyed flecks or "nubs" of color into the blends in  a way that creates the rich color accents that are unique to tweeds.  In the Highland Style yarns the accents stand out boldly while in the Shetland Style they are carded in more, resulting in a subtler effect.
